Hanna Liubakova

Hanna Liubakova is a journalist and analyst from Belarus, renowned for her expertise in media, human rights, and Belarusian politics. Currently serving as a non-resident fellow at the Atlantic Council, Hanna has written about the latest developments in Belarus for The Washington Post, The Economist, Deutsche Welle, and other international outlets. She is widely recognised as one of Belarus’s leading voices of the free press and has expertise in the broader region. In acknowledgement of her dedication and excellence in journalism, Hanna was honoured with the title of Journalist of the Year 2023 by One Young World.
